Happy Tuesday, sweet friends. Thinking about the significance of this day and all of the lives we lost 17 years ago. <3
It’s here! I had a couple of hours ALONE IN TARGET and I don’t remember when I’ve ever been so happy in my life. (Runner up: when my first baby was born. KIDDING.)
You should’ve seen the amount of clothes I took into the fitting room. (Also, a quick moment to talk about fitting room decorum: as a former retailer, PLEASE PUT YOUR CLOTHES BACK ON THE HANGERS AND BRING THEM OUT OF THE FITTING ROOM.)
You guys. The fall selection at Target is SO GOOD, I couldn’t fit it all in one post. I have a separate Universal Thread and casual try-on planned, so stay tuned. (And don’t forget to sign up for the blog so don’t miss it!)
I’ve linked everything I tried on and shared product and sizing info below each photo. Let me know if I missed something! It’s very early in the morning. 🙂
If you love these try-ons, let me know below which you’d like to see next! And check out the Old Navy Fall Try On here!

If there’s a moto jacket within 5 miles, I’ll find it. This moto jacket comes in this pretty pink and a gorgeous gray. I’m wearing size XS. It’s a less than $40 dupe of this more expensive version. Throw it on over your casual #ootd or your favorite floral dress and you’re good to go for fall.
These button front black jeans are a cute twist on a classic. They fit a bit big, but I wouldn’t size up.
I don’t have to tell you why this 3/4 length striped tee is a closet staple, right? You guys. I can’t quit stripes. And I don’t want to. I’m wearing XS and it’s pretty tight. It’s perfect for layering, but I would size up if I want to wear it alone.
Maybe my favorite look of the bunch. This sweatshirt is slightly cropped, but not too cropped that it’s not #momlife appropriate. And c’mon. It’s like my daily life.
I have a difficult relationship with joggers. (Life is hard.) Sometimes I think they’re SO comfy, but sometimes they are SO unflattering on me. These joggers are AMAZING. I didn’t get them because I have way too many casual pants, but I might need to reconsider. They are thick enough that they’re almost like sweatpants. I’m wearing size XS.
Did someone say Gucci dupes? (I did. And they’re less than $25 and SO cute.)
Ahh, I love playing with patterns and this look makes heart happy. As soon as I put it on, I didn’t want to take it off. This polka dot midi skirt is not something I would normally choose, but I loved how ladylike it made me feel! In a good way. I’m wearing a size 2 and it’s a bit big, so I would size down if you’re in between.
I can never resist a stripe, so OBVS this puff sleeve striped tee came home with me. I like it because it’s super versatile and perfect for daytime or date night. I’m wearing XS.
Never thought I would say this, but I love these kitten heels. You guys. Who am I??
This cardigan is a seasonless closet staple and you should probably have it or something similar in at least 3 colors. Just sayin. I’m wearing XS.
This floral sleeveless blouse is so pretty and would look chic under a blazer for work or alone for happy hour. It’s a bit sheer, because you can kind of see my black bra underneath. I’d go with a nude bra. I’m wearing XS.
I’m still kicking myself for not leaving with these rose gold loafers. This is a perfect example of something you shouldn’t spend a fortune on, because they’re rose gold loafers and super trendy. But, how can you not wear them nonstop? So cute.
Do you have a go-to army jacket in your closet yet?? This on is a good contender. It has cute beading detail on the pocket. I’m wearing XS.
I have this exact gray long sleeve tee and I LOVE it. I suggest stocking up in multiple colors so you can close your eyes, pull one out of your drawer, throw it on and go on with your #momlife. It’s long enough to wear with denim and not have to worry if you’re going to show your Hanky Pankies when you bend over to pick up the 1037th Cheerio off the floor.
I’m a self-proclaimed handbag snob, so imagine my surprise when I brought this handbag into the dressing room on a whim and ended up loving it. It comes in 3 colors and the pink (above) is way prettier in person than it looks online.
I couldn’t decide, so I had to show you both. 🙂 These army green joggers surprised me because I wasn’t sure how they would fit, but once I put them on I didn’t want to take them off. Give me an elastic waist any day of the week. They’re called “joggers” but they’re more dressy than that, in my opinion.
How chic is this tote bag?? If you work outside of the home, you just might need this in your life. You can lug all of the things, and still look fab.
Another blouse that will take you from the office to happy hour! I absolutely love this print. Can you tell?? I’m wearing XS.
For some reason I can’t find these pants in this pinstripe, but here they are in black and few other colors. They are SO flattering and comfortable. They pull on and are stretchy. I mean, c’mon. A total must if you work in an office. I’m wearing size 2.
One word for this handle tote bag: IMPRESSED. You guys. When did Target up their handbag game?? It’s so chic and doubles as a clutch when you fold it over.
I absolutely love the paperbag pants silhouette this year. It’s so flattering if you have a longer torso and short legs. And I just can’t get enough of this color.
I cannot get enough of this color for fall! This silky ruffle blouse is not conducive to #momlife, but it’s a perfect fall workwear look. It also looks great untucked. I like dressing it down with these jeans. I’m wearing XS.
This little black dress! All the heart eyes. The details are so pretty and it looks like it’s way more expensive than $32. I’m wearing an XS and it’s still a little big, so I would size down.
I’ve never met a cardigan I didn’t like. I didn’t get this button down cardigan, but I’m going to order it because I’ve been thinking about it since I tried it on. That’s how you know it’s true love, right? It’s easily dressed up or down. I’m wearing XS.
You need this tank in at least 5 colors. End of story. I’m wearing size SMALL.
Alright you guys. This button back sweater is THE only thing I tried on that I would NOT want to purchase and that you need to pass on. The fit is great, the color is gorgeous but OMG is it SO scratchy. I hate that! It totally ruins it for me.
Who else is loving that plaid has made a huge comeback for fall? Not that it ever went away, but it’s everywhere and I’m not mad at it. This plaid A-line mini skirt skirt is so versatile and would look super chic with a chunky sweater and booties or a band tee and a denim jacket. I love it. I’m wearing size 2 and it’s a little big in the waist, so I would size down.
This is the red puff sleeve tee version of the striped one above. As you can see, it’s a bit sheer and my bra shows more in this one than in the striped one. I would either wear a black bra or a darker nude one. Be sure NOT to wear white or light nude. I’m wearing XS.
The ideal #momlife #ootd. (Is it weird to speak in hashtags?) This belted cardigan is a fall no-brainer. It comes in 4 colors. I’m wearing XS.
I had to try these $16 faux leather leggings because my favorite pair is just under $100 and I wanted to see how these compare. Here’s the thing: I can definitely tell the difference. Not surprising. The fit and material is different. But, if you’re wanting to try out the trend without spending a lot, start with these. I’m wearing size SMALL.
Here’s the belted cardigan in pink. Because pink.
