Happy Wednesday, sweet friends! Alright, you guys have always like my SHEIN review posts, so here’s another one! And since I’ve gotten some requests for shopping tips, here’s what I’ve learned after placing a few SHEIN orders…

TIPS
Stick to the items that have reviews + photos. You can take a chance on the ones that haven’t been reviewed yet, but it’s a gamble.
Don’t go by the size, go by the measurements. Some of the sizes are off, so make sure to look at the measurements listed for each size before assuming you’ll wear your normal size.
When in doubt, size up. I’ve found cheaper garments tend to run small, so it’s best to size up if you’re unsure.
Stay away from pants. OK, this is a personal opinion, but after pouring through the pant selection, they all seem too “cool” for this mid 30’s mama.
Don’t be afraid to return. It’s actually not a difficult process and totally worth your time.
I paid the $3 shipping insurance and received my items within a couple of days.
Wash everything before you wear it. Real talk: I don’t always do this with other retailers. BUT, with SHEIN, it’s a must.
So, tell me: have you shopping SHEIN yet? What’s your experience been? Would love to know in the comments below!

HITS

Alright, I was skeptical about ordering this sweater because at only $23, I just couldn’t imagine it could be up to my high cozy sweater standards. Well, I was shocked when I tried it on. You guys. It’s soft, thick and fits so well. I absolutely love it. It comes in 6 colors. I’m wearing small.

File this leopard teddy coat under one of my favorite purchases of the year. 😉 OK, first let me say this: don’t expect a lot. Because it’s currently only $19. YOU GUYS. Crazy. There is no lining, but for real, what do we expect? It’s soft and cute and cozy on, and I love it.

Here’s a closer look at the band tee, which is a major hit. I ordered a medium because I like my tees bigger, and it’s perfect. It’s a little stretchy, which I wasn’t expecting. I love the little ripped details. You’ll def be seeing this in my #ootd round ups.

Alright, if you love the faux fur mule trend, I recommend these puppies. They’re a fraction of the price of the Gucci ones, and they look quality. They’re comfy and warm. Sold. They’ll be on the blog soon.

I shared these twist mules on my Facebook page and you guys where fans! I don’t blame you. If you’re looking for a cute neutral for spring, you can’t go wrong with these cuties.
MISSES

This tweed double-breasted coat is a major fail and feels more like a robe on. It’s way oversized and ill-fitting. Plus, there were threads coming out of the seams. No thanks.

I really wanted to like this sweater dress. But, I just couldn’t do it. It’s shapeless and the v-neck is super low (it’s pulled up here for the picture), which means you’d probably have to wear a cami or something underneath, but the material is pretty thin, so I’m not sure how that would work…

Ahhhh! These track pants are CRAZY and I can’t imagine who would wear them. The crotch of the pants almost goes down to my knees. Is this the new style and I’m just not cool enough? The material is icky and shiny and feels gross. I couldn’t get them off fast enough. No thanks.

Another piece that I wanted to love! This cardigan is SO thin and bad quality. It looks cute in the picture, but you know I wouldn’t steer you wrong. Back it goes.
