Happy Martin Luther King Jr Day! We are cozied up all day today because CRAZY FREEZING COLD. Chances are extremely high that I’ll spend the day in my sweats, but that doesn’t mean I can’t share this overalls look that I love.
I’ve shared my love of overalls with you before (Remember this post where I shared tips to style overalls? And this post last summer with my shortalls?)
It might seem like overalls are a bit of a fashion don’t, but I’m telling you: once you give ’em a fair chance, you’re going to love them.
The key is finding the right pair, and that’s where I come in. Because I’ve done the hard work for you and finally found the most classic, comfy overalls in the whole wide world.
These Madewell overalls are perfection. The fit is amazing. They don’t creep up and give the dreaded front situation thing (you know what I’m talking about), which can be an issue for long torso’d gals like myself. They have a bit of stretch and they move with you, so you don’t feel like you’re held hostage by all that denim. And they’re classic – which means you can wear them for years to come.
Stay warm, sweet friends!
XO

Every time I wear these leopard kicks, I get at least a few compliments. Turns out, pretty much everyone loves leopard as much as I do. And guess what? I found them on sale! (A note about the fit: they take a few wears to break them in. At first, they’re a bit stiff, like Golden Goose sneakers. But, they do soften up and get more comfy.)

This Madewell cardigan has a cult following, and for good reason. There’s really nothing it can’t do. I wear it around the house ALL the time, and throw it on before I run out the door to run errands. It’s cozy and stands up well to wear and washing. Love. This exact color is almost sold out, but there’s a new neutral colorbock version that is so pretty.

I ordered this coin pendant necklace last week and have been wearing it every time I actutally get out of my sweatpants. (Winter.) It’s on sale for $42. I swear, it looks way more $$$$.
