Happy Monday, sweet friends! White jeans and taking chances. That’s redundant right?
The Mister and I are fresh off of a Caribbean vacation to The Cayman Islands. (And by fresh I mean not fresh at all because we’ve been traveling for 12 hours, but I’m not going to complain.)
When the opportunity arose at the beginning of the year for a trip sans kids, I didn’t want to go. My first thought was NO WAY. Leave my girls? And go out of the country? Something that I wouldn’t have thought twice about for a second before babies, suddenly had me anxious and, well, wanting to sit it out and stay home.
Thankfully, my hubs talked me into it.
And guess what? We had an amazing time. (I know. You’re shocked we had a wonderful time in paradise.) I missed my girls so much my heart hurt and while I did feel homesick at times, that didn’t stop me from soaking in the sun and kid-free fun.
You guys. We even snorkeled in the middle of the ocean and if you know anything about me, you know that I’m obsessed with (read: terrified of) sharks. BUT. I did it and it was exhilarating.
So. You know what I say? Screw it. Take the chance. Go on the trip. Do something that scares you. Make your pulse race.
Oh, and wear the white jeans.
XO

A quick note about my look: My white jeans are pretty damn great. I’ve been looking for a pair that will hold up and last me for years, and these are the ones. They’re not see through, fit like a glove and have just enough stretch to feel comfortable. They run true to size, but if you’re in between sizes, I would size up. Aways a good bet with white jeans.
This tank is quickly becoming a favorite. It’s longer in the front and back (like a scoop fit). I’m wearing size small.
My denim jacket is THE perfect dark denim and it’s currently on sale!

I’ve been on the fence about white jeans, but I may just have to take the plunge! They’re super cute!! Glad you had fun on vacation!!
Yes! Do it, lady! Thank you 🙂 xo
