Happy Wednesday, sweet friends! Today I’m sharing my #ootd pics from our beach vacation to Grand Cayman last week. It was our first trip without the girls (you can read more about my hesitancy here) and while I missed our girls more than I can begin to describe, I had the most wonderful time with my guy.
Since I didn’t have to pack for 82 people (I mean 3, but same thing), I attempted to pack lightly for this trip (let’s pause for a collective laugh), and you guys….I almost made it happen. My suitcase was only like, 42 pounds. Bam.
You’ll see I wore the same pair of sunglasses and slides and carried my trusty tote over and over, again and again. And while I packed a lot of dresses, most of them didn’t make it out of the closet. I’m a tank and cut-offs kinda girl, I just can’t help it.
OK, that’s all for today! I’m working on rounding up all of your questions about Intermittent Fasting for Friday’s post, so come back here then if you want to hear all about it. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!

Awwwww…. 😉

Just off the plane and so ready for the beach vacation. These updated track pants are SO comfy and I felt polished, even after 7 hours of travel. They come in a ton of colors and run true to size. My exact denim jacket is sold out, but I have this one, too and it’s a closet staple at only $38.

A quick stop at cocktail hour on the beach. I threw this dress on (mine is from a couple of years ago, but this is the same style) and felt ladylike and pretty. I forgot the jewelry (and I can’t blame the kids, sooooo….).

I woke up early every day and did some work on our balcony. This sweatshirt is hands down my favorite purchase so far this year. I bought it in green, too. SO comfy and on sale for $25. These shorts are as soft as buttah and on sale for $12.

The Mister had meetings every morning, so I headed to the beach. Natch. I brought too many bathing suits and this was a favorite. It stays on (love the racerback) and the bottoms aren’t cheeky. My camo shorts are sold out (but might get restocked, so I’ll keep checking!) but these are the same style and I might just need ’em.

A little work and then the beach. Not too shabby. This tank comes in a million colors and is so easy and cute. It’s a linen blend, so it feels flowy. I sized up to a small.

I wore these cutoffs more than I’d like to admit, and this trip convinced me that I need every single color of this tank. I would size up in the shorts and I’m wearing a small in the tank.

If you need me, I’ll just be here casually leaning up against this blue-greenish wall.

We chartered a boat for our last morning there, and it was hands down the most fun and best decision ever. If you are ever in Grand Cayman, I highly recommend Red Escape with Red Sail Sports and be sure to request Michael and Pryce! (#notsponsored). We swam with stingrays, held starfish, went snorkeling and saw the brightest fish in the ocean and capped it off with a Mudslide at Rum Point. Perfect.

Back on the beach with a good book. My happy place.

I wore my favorite tank dress for an award ceremony where my man won a huge award. SO proud of him! (I always get questions about sizing on this dress. I sized up to a small and it’s perfect. Hugs the curves in all the right places.)

A little day-drinking with my guy in my short shorts. So much fun.

My travel essentials. I bought this laptop backpack for this trip and I LOVED it! I got a lot of compliments on it because it’s SO cute. (I forgot to include this bling roll, which was awesome for keeping my jewelry organized and untangled.)

Such a fun trip with my guy. And we were both SO ready to go home and snuggle our babies.
