Hi, sweet friends. It’s that time! I shopped the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale today, and I have to say that the sale is pretty good this year. I like it better than last year’s sale – especially the dresses. And, of course, the activewear is always a favorite.

VERONICA BEARD SMOCKED CHIFFON MINI DRESS

This dress fits like a glove! I absolutely love the smocking around the waist and booty. It’s so flattering. The price tag is a bit steep, but this is a dress you’ll have in your closet for years. It’s the perfect fancy event dress when you don’t know what to wear. I’m wearing size 0.

TED BAKER TIERED MINI DRESS

The color of this dress is stunning! It is perfect for a late summer or fall wedding. The sleeves are billowy and a bit sheer and the whole vibe is ethereal and gorgeous. I’m wearing size 1.

BB DAKOTA BY STEVE MADDEN FLORAL MAXI DRESS

The least expensive dress of the bunch! This dress is on sale for less that $70! Sometimes maxi dresses can overwhelm my frame, but this is fitted in all the right places. I’m obsessed. I’m wearing XS.

TOPSHOP POLO SWEATER

I know, you’re not in the sweater mindset yet, but I promise that as soon as the temps drop you will be so grateful you planned ahead. I’m high maintenance when it comes to sweaters because I can’t stand them to be at all itchy, and this one isn’t. If you know me at all, you know that I’m OBSESSED with this color. The fit is a bit oversized – I’m wearing XS.

LA LIGNE BRAID STRIPE CARDIGAN

Take me to Paris! This cardigan is so ladylike and Parisian and I want to wear it daily for the rest of time. It’s one of those pieces that you’ll be so glad you have in your closet. I’m wearing XS.

How chic is this top?? When I saw it on the hanger, I wasn’t sure how it would fit. I knew I would either LOVE it or absolutely hate it. Guess what? Yep. LOVED it. The details are stunning and it’s easily dressed up or down. I’m wearing size small.

THEORY CARDIGAN + ZELLA LIVE IN LEGGINGS

Give me a cozy sweater and my favorite pair of leggings and I’m a happy girl. You’ll be seeing this cardigan on repeat all fall and winter long. I’m wearing size Petite. If you don’t have a pair of Zella leggings yet, it might be time. They’re high rise, super comfy and they stay put. I have them in small.

ON CLOUDSWIFT RUNNING SHOES

I’ve been wanting to try a pair of ON running shoes for awhile, and thought this was the best time. You guys – they’re SO comfy! They really do feel like I’m walking on a cloud. Super cushy.

I always pick up some of my activewear staples during the sale, and these ALO leggings area always a favorite. I’m wearing them in small.
