Hi, sweet friends. We’re coming up on one year in our new house (HOW) and we’ve been working hard on putting our touches on it and making it feel like home, so I’m sharing a little home update!
It was intimidating at first. Big empty rooms – so many blank canvases.
I still have a ways to go – everywhere I look I see little changes and tweaks I can make: wallpaper in the kids’ rooms, chandeliers in a few rooms…and don’t get me started on the basement.
But, layer by layer, it’s all coming together and I couldn’t be happier with it all.
Last weekend I made a little change in the family room. I swapped the chair and a half and the two leather arm chairs. It opened up the whole room and let even more light pour in.
Just another reminder that little changes can make big differences…

Also, if you haven’t tried a chair and a half yet and you have the room, I highly recommend. It’s THE perfect snuggling place.
Our exact chair is sold out, but I’ve linked similar below…
