Hi, sweet friends.
Day 3 of our self-quarantine/social-distancing and we’re hanging in there. I hope you guys are, too.
Since my little ones are 5 and under, we’re not “home-schooling” or implementing any sort of official school schedule. Instead, I’m trying to make sure their days are filled with fun activities and some boredom. Because good things happen when kids are bored. They get creative. They brainstorm. They MAKE THEIR OWN adventure.
Here’s a round up of some Amazon finds to help keep your little ones engaged…

1. Melissa & Doug See & Spell Learning Toy | Love this for my 3 year old.
2. Crayola Light Up Tracing Pad | My 5 year old spent almost ALL day drawing on this tracing pad. It’s like a combo of tracing, coloring and dress up (they have other options, too).
3. Pogo Jumper | BURN. THAT. ENERGY.
4. Window Art | Great for older little ones.
5. Hide & Seek Rock Painting Kit | You don’t need a kit for this, but it’s a cute idea to paint rocks and hide them in the backyard for the kids to find.
6. MOLUK Bilibo | Kids love this thing.
7. Spelling Puzzle Cards | We have these cards and my 5 year old loves them.
8. Orbeez | My girls are obsessed with these water beads. I let them play with them in a large tote so they don’t go everywhere.
9. Tie Dye Kit | So fun.
10. Pipe Cleaners | We always have these on hand for some old school fun.
11. Pompoms | A craft staple.
12. Kidz Xplore Outdoor Explorer Set | Love this for the backyard.
13. Water Table | Good, clean fun. 🙂
14. Kids Fire Tablet |Because we’re human and screen time means a break. And it’s on sale.
15. Crayola Picture Projector | A project that might take longer than 15 minutes!
16. DIY Slime Kit | Normally I’m anti-slime, but drastic times…
17. Zingo Bingo | We love this little one-friendly Bingo game. It’s a fun game for the whole family to play.
18. Interactive Alphabet Wall Chart| I tried to steer clear of things that make noise (you’re welcome), but this interactive alphabet chart is a fun way for little ones to play and learn.
19. Brain Quest Workbook (Pre-K)| They have these books for all ages…
20. Learning Sight Words Dry Erase Book | I’ve ordered this for my 5 year old.
21. Washable Paint | Put the kiddos in the bathtub and let them go to town.
22. Crayola Ultimate Crayon Collection Coloring Set | Break out the coloring books.
23. Kinetic Sand Castles | Tactile and stress-relieving. For us, too.
24. LeapFrog Mr. Pencil’s ABC Backpack | Learning is fun.
