What I Wore | Packing For a Beach Vacation

Looks, Spring, Summer

February 18, 2020

Happy Tuesday, sweet friends! Look! It didn’t take me weeks to get this post up! Progress. Now that we’ve been going to Siesta Key for 4 years, I’ve been able to streamline my packing. I know that it’s super casual, so no need for a lot of dresses and wedges are totally out of the question.

Here’s a look at what I wore this time around. You’ll see a few items on repeat, like my hat, sunnies and slides.

What I Wore | Packing For a Beach Vacation
I wore this cover up more than any other one! It’s so easy and comfy and fully covers the booty.

Remember this leopard kimono from last summer? I love how versatile it is – I wore it over a tank and jeans when I was pregnant and it’s also the perfect beach cover up.

I ordered this suit for this trip and it’s definitely a keeper. One piece suits are usually hard for me because I have a long torso. This one comes in long, which is genius. I’m wearing medium long. It’s on sale for $35.

If you’re postpartum or just enjoy a flattering bikini (EVERYONE), you need this suit. I kept seeing it on the ‘gram last summer, so I decided to order it for this trip. It’s SO flattering and totally covers the mom pooch. It’s also supportive enough for the girls.

If you’re planning a trip with a baby, you need this baby carrier. I’ve tried so many, and this is by far my favorite. I love that it has a light cover to protect baby from sun, wind, light, whatever. I wore it in the airport and for walks in Florida when baby boy wasn’t in the stroller.

Yep, here we are on our walk. 🙂 OK, I knew I wanted a pair of cut offs for this trip, but my pre-baby shorts don’t fit me yet. I ordered this pair and I LOVE them. They’re full enough coverage that I felt comfortable, but not too much that I felt like a dork. HA. I am wearing one size up from my normal size, so I would say that run true to size.

I wore this black ruffle suit more than any other one! It’s so flattering because it has ruching on the stomach and it has fuller booty coverage, so there’s no tugging and pulling necessary. It runs very small – I went up 3 sizes from my current postpartum size.

I LOVE this black dress! It was a random Amazon find and it will def be on repeat this spring and summer. I’m wearing small. The buttons are functional, so it’s nursing friendly.

This $17 sweatshirt is a closet staple! The stripes are sold out, but it comes in 4 other colors. I’ll keep a look out for restocks – I’m pretty sure they’re coming. I’m wearing small.

My travel day look. This boyfriend tee has quickly become a favorite and these leopard leggings are crazy soft and flattering. They’re high rise and have a cross panel waist, making them perfect for pregnancy and postpartum.
