I’m excited to share our family room progress today! I’ve been wanting to share this for awhile, but wanted to wait until the Christmas decor was down and a few of the big pieces of furniture were delivered. (Since these photos were taken, we’ve added a bookshelf to one wall and a gorgeous chest of drawers to the other wall – I’ll share those soon!)

I get asked often about our sofa and chair and a half. They’re both crazy comfy and deep enough for family snuggles. Also, if you have kiddos, a slipcovered couch is a must. Spit up, pee, you name it – just take off the covers and throw them in the washer and they’re as good as new. I’ve been SO happy with our rug. It’s super durable, despite being light.
These leather accent chairs are hands down my favorite pieces in our family room. I had been looking for months for the perfect accent chairs. (And probably even longer, since I couldn’t find chairs for the family room in our last home, either.) Abbie found these chairs and instantly, I fell in love with them. They are absolutely gorgeous and surprisingly cushy and comfy.
These pillows are sold out, but this one is very similar.
We’ve had this console table for years, but I recently found this one, which is a fraction of the price and looks almost identical! Baskets have always been my go-to for toys, and this lidded one definitely comes in handy.
Abbie also helped me find this coffee table, after weeks of fruitless searching on my own. I wanted something round, but it had to be substantial enough for the room. This one is absolutely perfect. I love the variations in the wood.
The built ins are coming along! I swear, not a day goes by that I don’t rearrange the pieces on these shelves.
