Fall, Looks, Spring, Winter

February 6, 2020

Happy Thursday, sweet friends! I’ve been wanting to share easy outfit ideas with you – something you can save if you need inspiration for those days when you just don’t want to get dressed.

This might be the easiest post I’ve ever done, since my camera roll is filled with photos of what I wore when I didn’t want to get dressed. Ha.

I hope this helps!

When in doubt, go with all black. I’m hard pressed to find a top that is as comfortable and as versatile as this Free People tunic. If you add one item to your wardrobe this winter inspired by these outfit ideas, let this be it. I have it in 3 colors and wear the black most often. It runs big – I’m wearing small.

Another Free People favorite: this slouchy sweater. It’s crazy soft and so easy to throw on with leggings, jeans or joggers. It’s currently on sale. Runs big. Wearing small.
These fleece joggers are a new find and I’m obsessed. For real. They’re less than $45, as soft as butter and flattering. I’m wearing small.

I’m pretty much never not wearing this nursing-friendly henley. It’s on sale for $10, comes in a bunch of colors and is so versatile. I’m wearing medium.

Mom jeans to the rescue! These babies are very high rise and help hold in the little postpartum pooch. They’re currently Buy One, Get One 50% off. I sized up one from my normal size.

This Amazon cardigan was one of last year’s finds and I’ve actually been surprised by how often I reach for it. I generally throw it on over a tee and leggings or jeans as a coat alternative when it’s warm enough outside. It’s also great for in the house when I want something cozy.

Another Amazon find! This waffle knit top reminds me of a Free People top, at a fraction of the price. It’s perfect for postpartum because it’s flowy and not at all constricting. It comes in a bunch of colors.

These leopard Aerie leggings are the same style as the black ones that you guys LOVE and were a best seller last year. I was unsure if I would like the leopard or if I would feel like Peg Bundy. Well, if this is how Peg Bundy feels, sign me up. They’re crazy soft, have a criss cross waist and are super flattering. Sold. I’m wearing small.

I also ordered 2 colors in this boyfriend tee, and I will be wearing them often this spring. It’s perfectly oversize (wearing small) and great with leggings.

(Excuse the mess. Real life.)
There’s not much I love more than a beachy sweater, and this one is pretty darn perfect. It runs big, so size down.
I’m wearing it over my favorite tank and with these joggers. And no, I can’t quite wear these slides outside yet, but that doesn’t mean I can’t rock them indoors.

Another day, another waffle tee. I can’t help it. This one has a split hem and is longer in the back, which makes it great for leggings. It comes in 8 colors and I foresee myself ordering a few more.

These are the high rise, tummy control shapewear leggings from Amazon that I’ve shared in black. I decided to go out on a limb and order this color. It’s prettier in person and looks so good with gray or cream. I sized up to medium.

And for those times when you REALLY don’t want to get dress? This robe. It’s lightweight enough for spring, but will keep you cozy during the Chicago winter. I’ve been wearing it every morning since it arrived.
