Old Navy Winter Try-On Haul

Looks, Try-Ons, Winter

December 3, 2018

Happy Monday, sweet friends!

This was our first weekend in quite a while with absolutely no plans and it was glorious. Even with the rain and the crappy weather, we loved it.

I snuck into Old Navy last week and you’ll see why my winter try-on session lasted only about 15 minutes. (Spoiler alert: toddler.) BUT, it was enough time for me to grab what first caught my eye during a quick walk through the store, throw it on and snap a few photos.

I only tried on 2 pairs of denim because honestly, I’ve only ever loved a few styles of Old Navy jeans. I had my sights set on sweaters and cardigans because I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but Old Navy has stepped up their cozy game in the last couple of years and I’m TOTALLY here for it.

Some of the pieces came home with me and some of them I wish I’d purchased (which probs means I’ll be ordering them online ASAP).

The best part? It’s all an extra 30% off with code HURRY!

Happy shopping! And don’t forget to head to the bottom of the post to enter to win a $1000 gift card to Nordstrom!! (Yes, FOR REAL.)

Old Navy winter try on haul, sherpa pullover

This cozy sherpa pullover is an awesome dupe of this best-selling Polartec jacket and for just a fraction of the price. It comes in 4 colors. Size down if you’re in between. I’m wearing size XS.

Old Navy winter try on haul, grey plush tee and pajama leggings

This gray plush tee is the same as the striped one above and I’m convinced I need it in every color. It’s that fleecy soft as butter material that you never want to take off. I’m wearing size small and it’s perfect, so I would size up if you like a looser fit.

These black and white buffalo thermal-knit pajamas leggings are a no-brainer. They’re perfect if you don’t want to spend a fortune on fun party pants (and you shouldn’t). I’m wearing size small.

These faux fur slippers are pretty great Ugg dupes. They come in a bunch of colors and are less than $20. I chose my regular size and with my socks they were small, so I would size up if you like to wear socks with your slippers.

Old Navy winter try on haul, grey plush tee, heavy weight cardigan and pajama leggings

You guys. This heavy weight cardigan is one of my favorite finds from this try-on. I’m not sure how on earth it’s less than $50 and I’m convinced there’s some sort of magic wizardry involved, but I’m not going to ask any questions. I’m wearing size XS.

Old Navy winter try on haul, puffer vest

I’ve been seeing some other style bloggers wearing this puffer vest, and I had to try it for myself. Well, it’s good, y’all. It’s a great layering piece if you live in Chicagoland and have to endure some harsh winters and if you’re in warmer weather, it’s awesome alone, too. (I mean, with a tee or sweater underneath. To clarify.) I’m wearing XS.

Old Navy winter try on haul, turtleneck and denim
This slouchy turtleneck is the coziest of cozy and is one of the pieces that came home with me. I love the pretty ribbed detailing on the shoulders. It looks way more expensive than it is, which is always the goal, right?  It comes in 6 colors and the green is gorgeous. I’m wearing XS.
This light was denim is very high rise, which is this mama’s love language. They run true to size.

Remember the best-seller from my Old Navy Try-On Haul this fall? Well, the moto jacket is back and cozier for winter. This one is sherpa-lined and comes in this pretty rose color, too. I’m wearing XS, but I think a small would be better. So I would size up if you’re in between.

This might explain why my try-on only lasted about 15 minutes. And yes, here are the pajama leggings again. This pair came home with me. I’m wearing size small.

Boatneck tunic sweater, scarf, and denim
How pretty are these colors together?? This boatneck tunic sweater covers the booty and is so comfy. It comes in 9 colors, but this one is definitely my fave. I’m wearing XS.
This boucle scarf is less than $23 and a winter essential. It comes in 7 colors.

Cable knit sweater
I’ve never met an ivory sweater I didn’t like, so of course I had to try on this cable knit sweater. It’s not my favorite of the bunch, but you can’t beat it for the price. It comes in 7 colors and I think I would like it better in a darker color. I’m wearing XS and a small would be better, so I would size up if you’re in between.

I thought I was done, but then I found a few cardigans and a coat that I had to try. So, the rest of my outfit is not from Old Navy, but most of it’s on sale!

Cardi coat, canvas toat

This cardi coat is an amazing Madewell dupe! I didn’t end up getting it, but I’ve been thinking about it since the try-on.  If you work in an office with A/C blasting, you need this in your life. Or, if you have to run into your kiddo’s school, throw this on and you’ll easily look polished. It comes in 2 colors. I’m wearing XS.

Speaking of Madewell dupes, this tote is a dead ringer for this canvas tote.

Long marled cardigan

Are you guys over the cardigans yet? I hope not. This long marled cardigan is less than $50 and comes in 2 colors AND it gets crazy good reviews. I’m wearing XS.

Funnel neck coat

This funnel neck coat caught my eye on the way out. You guys. It’s SO soft. It is thinner than it looks, so I wouldn’t get it for the warmth, but it’s pretty darn cute. I’m wearing XS.
