Happy Monday, sweet friends!
This was our first weekend in quite a while with absolutely no plans and it was glorious. Even with the rain and the crappy weather, we loved it.
I snuck into Old Navy last week and you’ll see why my winter try-on session lasted only about 15 minutes. (Spoiler alert: toddler.) BUT, it was enough time for me to grab what first caught my eye during a quick walk through the store, throw it on and snap a few photos.
I only tried on 2 pairs of denim because honestly, I’ve only ever loved a few styles of Old Navy jeans. I had my sights set on sweaters and cardigans because I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but Old Navy has stepped up their cozy game in the last couple of years and I’m TOTALLY here for it.
Some of the pieces came home with me and some of them I wish I’d purchased (which probs means I’ll be ordering them online ASAP).
Happy shopping! And don’t forget to head to the bottom of the post to enter to win a $1000 gift card to Nordstrom!! (Yes, FOR REAL.)

This gray plush tee is the same as the striped one above and I’m convinced I need it in every color. It’s that fleecy soft as butter material that you never want to take off. I’m wearing size small and it’s perfect, so I would size up if you like a looser fit.
These black and white buffalo thermal-knit pajamas leggings are a no-brainer. They’re perfect if you don’t want to spend a fortune on fun party pants (and you shouldn’t). I’m wearing size small.
These faux fur slippers are pretty great Ugg dupes. They come in a bunch of colors and are less than $20. I chose my regular size and with my socks they were small, so I would size up if you like to wear socks with your slippers.
You guys. This heavy weight cardigan is one of my favorite finds from this try-on. I’m not sure how on earth it’s less than $50 and I’m convinced there’s some sort of magic wizardry involved, but I’m not going to ask any questions. I’m wearing size XS.
I’ve been seeing some other style bloggers wearing this puffer vest, and I had to try it for myself. Well, it’s good, y’all. It’s a great layering piece if you live in Chicagoland and have to endure some harsh winters and if you’re in warmer weather, it’s awesome alone, too. (I mean, with a tee or sweater underneath. To clarify.) I’m wearing XS.
Remember the best-seller from my Old Navy Try-On Haul this fall? Well, the moto jacket is back and cozier for winter. This one is sherpa-lined and comes in this pretty rose color, too. I’m wearing XS, but I think a small would be better. So I would size up if you’re in between.
This might explain why my try-on only lasted about 15 minutes. And yes, here are the pajama leggings again. This pair came home with me. I’m wearing size small.
I thought I was done, but then I found a few cardigans and a coat that I had to try. So, the rest of my outfit is not from Old Navy, but most of it’s on sale!
This cardi coat is an amazing Madewell dupe! I didn’t end up getting it, but I’ve been thinking about it since the try-on. If you work in an office with A/C blasting, you need this in your life. Or, if you have to run into your kiddo’s school, throw this on and you’ll easily look polished. It comes in 2 colors. I’m wearing XS.
Are you guys over the cardigans yet? I hope not. This long marled cardigan is less than $50 and comes in 2 colors AND it gets crazy good reviews. I’m wearing XS.
This funnel neck coat caught my eye on the way out. You guys. It’s SO soft. It is thinner than it looks, so I wouldn’t get it for the warmth, but it’s pretty darn cute. I’m wearing XS.
