Happy Friday, sweet friends! It’s another Sweet Edit… and it’s snowing.
“When it snows, you have two choices: shovel or make snow angels.” -Unknown
I’m not going to lie. My first thought was: DAMN. Immediately, I started yearning for summer and warm days and sunshine. In my mind, I started counting down to our family beach trip early next year.
And without even realizing it, I started wishing away time.
So, I stopped myself. Why on Earth would I wish today away? Why am I focusing on somewhere else, some other time, last summer, next summer, when there is SO much good in TODAY?
I always lament how fast time goes, especially when marked by my sweet girls’ milestones and new discoveries.
How foolish, then, is it for me to hit the mental fast forward button, all because of dropping temps and falling snow?
