Hi, sweet friends!
Wedding season is officially upon us! June is a month that is near and dear to my heart because it’s when The Mister and I got hitched. This year we’re celebrating our 5 year anniversary (how is that even possible?!) and it’s giving me all the wedding feels.
Whether you are a bride or a wedding guest, I’ve got you covered with some helpful wedding registry tips.
The biggest tip if you’re a wedding guest? Stick to the registry. If only every occasion was so easy! The couple is telling you what they want, and it’s a good idea to listen. Believe me. Save them an errand.
Are you a bride? Be sure to register right away after you get engaged (after celebrating, of course) so you can give yourself time. It can be overwhelming. so you need to go in prepared.
Macy’s is the perfect place to start. Not only do they have the top brands you need to include on your registry (Michael Aram, All Clad, Le Creuset and Kate Spade to name a few), but they can also meet all of your other wedding needs! From dresses for your shower and engagement photos (remember this post?) to your wedding bands, look no further.
AND you’ll receive a newlywed discount! They offer 20% off most remaining items on your registry for up to 6 months after the wedding. Talk about starting your married life off on the right foot.
Ready for the best part? Macy’s amazing wedding registry sweepstakes! I promise, you want to win this.

MY FAVORITE WEDDING REGISTRY ITEMS
EVERY DAY KITCHEN ESSENTIALS
Sure, I also registered for a KitchenAid mixer and a waffle maker, but what I’ve used the most are those every day essentials that no kitchen is complete without.
QUALITY KNIVES + CUTTING BOARD
I loved including quality knives on our wedding registry because they’re not necessarily a fun purchase, but having them in my kitchen makes a world of difference and I use them every single day. This in-drawer knife set is amazing (and on major sale!) and has everything you need. (And, check out those reviews!) Plus, they make me fee like a gourmet chef while I’m cutting up an apple for my kids. This cutting board totally completes the package.
COFFEE FROTHER + ESPRESSO COFFEE POT
I don’t need to tell you why coffee is an every day essential, right?? But, here’s the deal: If you plan on having kids or already have kids, coffee is LIFE. And you don’t need to leave your house to have a fancy-schmancy cup of joe. I absolutely LOVE my coffee frother.

PIECES THAT MAKE YOUR HOUSE A HOME
My favorite part of home decor are those little finds that make your house a cozy home.
A STATEMENT FRAME
Because even though you won’t be able to wear that gorgeous wedding dress again, you can look at photos of it every day for the rest of your life. Michael Aram is one of my absolute favorite home decor designers. All of his pieces are ornate and gorgeous and this black orchid frame is one of my favorite home decor pieces.
THROWS + THROW PILLOWS
As the queen of cozy, I am a true believer in the power of a good throw and throw pillow. They’re a quick and easy way to warm up any room. I love the tassels on this throw and the gorgeous beading details on this pillow. So chic and cozy.

A SPECIAL PLACE FOR YOUR RING
You’re probably not going to want to take off your ring for the first year of marriage, but I promise when you finally do, you’re going to want somewhere special to put it and this Michael Aram ring holder is a stunning addition to your home.
