LBD: Daytime to Date Night

Happy Monday, friends! File this one under: the windiest day in the history of photoshoots. Fiiiine, that might be a stretch, but WHOA. Windy. And if you know me at all, you know that I hate wind. It’s one of my pet peeves. And lip gloss to the situation and it’s even more fun. I love seeing posts showing 1 item styled 2 ways, so here’s my take on the LBD (little black dress) for both daytime to date night. 

OK, THIS DRESS. I know all caps mean I’m yelling, and I totally mean it. This dress warrants all the good yelling there is in the world. It’s the tank version of my other favorite dress, and believe me when I tell you that you need to add it to your closet for spring, summer and fall (and winter, depending where you live). It comes in a ton of colors – they just added more! – and fits in all the right places. (I’m always asked about sizing, so if you’re in between sizes, I would size up. I did go up a size, because I didn’t want it super tight.) I can promise you you’ll be seeing it on the blog again soon. It’s just that good. 

For the daytime look, I grabbed my favorite denim jacket, comfy kicks and trusty tote. It’s an effortless look that I will recreate many times this spring and summer. 

For date night, these heels are a no-brainer. They come in a ton of colors (this exact color in suede is sold out, but there is a leather version that is just as flattering). For real, scoop these up for your next night out with the hubs.
