Hi, sweet friends. It’s another Sunday Sweet Edit!
(This post contains affiliated links.)
I normally go with Funny Bunny no chip on my nails, but switched it up this week with OPI Taupeless Beach and it’s the prettiest grayish brown for fall. Also, loving the almond shape. It’s been easier to get my nails to grow a bit – I’ve always done square nails and the corners get weak. The almond shape solves that problem.
My dad wore white Reeboks every day of his life. So, obviously I had to get these kicks. They’re crazy comfy and on sale.
I went on a fall floral dress deep dive. I just love all of these warm prints.
The coziest muscle tank in all the land! I’ll be wearing it under cardigans this fall. I’m wearing small.
The shorts that I’ve worn more than any other pair are on sale! They’re long enough for #momlife and true to size.
EXPRESS SALE FAVORITES
Express is one of my go-to’s for dressier tops, dresses and blazers. I’ve heard amazing things about their denim, and need to try them ASAP. All of their denim is on sale for $49!
last week’s most loved
It’s the hoodie version of the best selling sweater of last week! And the coziest joggers ever. I’m wearing small in both.
This Free People tie dye long sleeve tee is never not a best seller! It’s on sale and worth every penny.
You’ll wear these booties for years to come.
You guys are ready for fall home decor!
MOST LOVED FOR THE HOME
MOST LOVED FOR KIDS
one more thing…
I saw this the other day, and it changed something for me.
A lot of the times, as a mom of 3 little ones, I feel touched out. Like by 5pm, I don’t want anyone to touch me. The prodding and pulling of the day just wears me right out.
I know my kids need touch. They want to feel connected, and so do I.
When I saw this stat on hugs (which, I have no idea if it’s true or not, but….), I decided to reframe my thoughts on touching. I shared it with my girls, and told them we need 12 hugs a day to grow.
So, we’ve been having “hug time” throughout the day. It’s corny and a bit like Trolls, but it’s been working.
And, I’m loving the connection so much, too.
