The Sweet Edit

August 29, 2021

Hi, sweet friends! Busy weekend over here – we celebrated The Mister’s birthday yesterday and today is all about getting my oldest ready to start school tomorrow. Taking a moment to share this week’s Sunday Sweet Edit…

My bestie and I recently started reading this book, and I’m loving the interactive emotional deep dive. I keep a journal with me when I read it so I can jot down my thoughts and feelings.

It’s still 90 degrees out, but that won’t stop me from burning one of my favorite fall candles.

I couldn’t resist this doormat. #freebritney

My gold coin necklace was restocked! It’s the perfect everyday piece.

ICYMI, I shared Why I’m Getting My Tattoos Removed in this post. It was by far the most loved post last week.

So far, this army jacket is one of the best sellers from the Stay At Home Mom Fall Capsule Wardrobe. It’s lightweight and can be worn on its own, too.

This Recent Home Finds web story is the most viewed this week.

I am no longer available for things that make me feel like shit

Sometimes, it’s just this simple.

I remember my last hangover on January 19, 2020, and feeling deep in my bones that I was DONE. I knew I never wanted to feel like that again. I never wanted to purposely make myself feel like shit. Isn’t life hard enough sometimes?

So, sometimes my sobriety is just that simple. I am forever grateful that I don’t ever have to feel the agony of a hangover again.
