NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE: THE HITS
ALO RIBBED CROPPED HOODIE + RIBBED HIGH WAIST SWEATPANT JOGGERS
I am in love with this cozy lounge set! I wasn’t sure I would like the cropped hoodie, but the joggers are high waisted enough that my midriff isn’t on full display. I would say it runs a bit big – I’m wearing small and it’s roomy, but it’s perfect.
I’ve had my eye on this Blanc Noir hooded moto jacket since I first previewed the sale. It’s been at the top of my list and I couldn’t wait to try it on. Well, I wasn’t disappointed because it’s SO GOOD.
These Dolce Vita studded booties are the best booties of the sale. They have a lug sole with just a bit of a platform and come in 4 colors. I’ll be wearing them a lot this fall and winter.
I’ve had my Spanx faux leather leggings for at least 5 years and they’re still as good as new. They’re one of my most worn items in my closet. I’m wearing XS.
This Free People tee is so easy and perfect with jeans and long enough for leggings! It comes in 3 colors and I might have to get one more color. As with all Free People, it runs big. I’m wearing XS.
I’m loving the wash of these rag & bone jeans. I don’t have a lot of lighter jeans, so I’m excited to add these to my closet. They’re high rise, but with quite a lot of stretch.
This is a departure from my normally all black workout gear, and I’m going to try to work up the courage to wear this ALO sports bra and these ALO leggings to yoga on Tuesday. It’s flattering and I’m loving the neutral colorway.
Alright, I’m officially an ALO fan now. I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to try the brand. This tank is so soft and will be perfect for my hot yoga classes. I’m wearing small.

NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE: THE MISSES
I really wanted to like this BB Dakota x Steve Madden dress, but the fit was just so weird. The shoulders and waist was really tight, but the rest of the dress felt overwhelming. Maybe I could’ve tried a size up, but I just gave up on it.
Again, the fit on this Good American bodycon dress was weird for me. Also, the neckline was just too plunging. It’s not that kinda party.
I tried, you guys. I tried. This Good American jumpsuit was just too tight and too J.Lo for me.
I keep going back and forth on this BB Dakota dress. Right now I’m leaning toward returning it, just because it’s a but too short.
