A Round Up Of My Favorite Black Leggings

Fall, Looks, Spring, Winter

January 20, 2020

Hi, sweet friends! Alright, it’s time I fully embrace my #momlife uniform. I have all of the goals to get dressed like a real human and wear, maybe…JEANS? But every morning, I end up reaching for a good pair of black LEGGINGS.

I’ve put in about 5 years of serious leggings research. I’ve tried MANY pairs. And I think we can agree: not all leggings are created equal.

Today I’m rounding up my favorite black leggings. These are the leggings that have been on repeat since I bought them. They’re all high rise and flattering for the mamas. Some work for pregnancy. Some are perfect for postaprtum. And they are all worth every penny…

OLD NAVY ELEVATE BLACK LEGGINGS

Today I'm rounding up my favorite black leggings. These are the leggings that have been on repeat since I bought them.
I’ve had these Old Navy leggings longer than I’ve been a mama, and they’re held up so well. I don’t wear them for workouts, but instead for everyday #momlife. They’re high rise and I’m pretty sure they had a lot of compression back in the day.

ZELLA LIVE IN BLACK LEGGINGS

Today I'm rounding up my favorite black leggings. These are the leggings that have been on repeat since I bought them.
These are my tried and true leggings. The ones that I grab out of my drawer the most often. They’re so good, I bought another black pair because I found myself wearing them over and over. They’re high rise, with the perfect amount of compression for either working out or momming around. I’m wearing small.

90 DEGREE BY REFLEX POWER CAPRI

Today I'm rounding up my favorite black leggings. These are the leggings that have been on repeat since I bought them.
Two words: tummy control. These leggings hold me in in all the right places. They’re more like shapewear than regular old leggings. And they’re only $24, which is bananas. I have them in small.

90 DEGREE BY REFLEX POWER FLEX TUMMY CONTROL BLACK LEGGINGS

Today I'm rounding up my favorite black leggings. These are the leggings that have been on repeat since I bought them.
These are the full length version of the capris above. I like to wear these as my #ootd rather than for working out, but they would definitely work for working out. They’re the longest leggings of the bunch.

AERIE PLAY ME REAL 7/8 BLACK LEGGINGS

Today I'm rounding up my favorite black leggings. These are the leggings that have been on repeat since I bought them.
These leggings are totally bump-approved. I wore them throughout my pregnancy and also now postpartum. They’re high rise and have very little compression, so they’re comfortable and not at all restrictive. They’re 7/8 length, which means they’re between capri and full length. I sized up to medium for pregnancy.

SPANX FAUX LEATHER LEGGINGS

Today I'm rounding up my favorite black leggings. These are the leggings that have been on repeat since I bought them.
Believe the hype! These are THE best faux leather leggings out there. They’re super flattering, very high rise and easily dressed up or down. They have a LOT of compression and are more like shapewear. I’m wearing XS.

I usually prefer cotton leggings in black color. Because in this we feel more comfortable while doing a workout,
