Hi, sweet friends!
I’m so excited to share my home office tour with you! This is by far my favorite space in our new home. It’s where I go to unwind, create, write and to sip coffee – hopefully in peace, although most times in chaos.
We didn’t build our home, but as we walked through, it felt as though we had. With each step, we fell more in love and by the time I got to this “Mom’s office” right off the kitchen, I was sold.
The shelves and desk are all built in and provide so much storage, without compromising style. I can’t get enough of the natural light from the windows to the balcony.
As with each room in our home, I’ve let it unfold and have gradually decorated and styled it. It’s still a work in progress (I have plans to wall paper behind the desk), but I’m very happy with how it’s turning out. I’ve linked everything I could – most of the items are still in stock.
I hope you enjoy!

I am working on getting sources for the light fixtures and hardware, so stay tuned. The paint color is White Dove – Benjamin Moore.
I think you can tell a lot about someone based on the books on her bookshelf. I’m not exactly sure what mine say about me, but here they are. I recently purged most of my paperback books (I still have about 100 to go, but it’s taking me some time). I really only want to be surrounded by the books that I love.
A closer look at the rug. I had been looking for the perfect rug for this space since we moved in and recently found this one. I love that it’s neutral, but with texture and a bit of a pattern. And you just can’t beat the price.
My mirror selfie mirror. 🙂 It’s great for smaller spaces and it’s less than $60.
This chest of drawers were from my old home office where I didn’t have any storage. I decided to use it in my new office because it doesn’t take up much space. I swapped out the drawer pulls for these chic gold ones.
The not-so-asthetically-pleasing corner…
