Happy Friday, sweet friends!
I’m up before the rest of the house and I’m enjoying my (hot!) coffee in peace. Not sure there’s anything better.
Be sure to read all of this week’s Friday Five because I’m sharing a magic book that will help put your kiddos to sleep. (FOR REAL. We’ve been using it with my oldest since she was 3 and she still wants it every single night.)
Have a wonderful weekend!

PBK x Mark & Graham Diaper Bag + Changing Pad Clutch
I‘ve been looking for a diaper bag that is chic and doesn’t scream I’M A MOM AND HAVE TO CARRY EVERYTHING AND THE KITCHEN SINK WITH ME WHEREVER I GO. I spotted this one a few weeks ago when I was creating one of the Holiday Gift Guides. I’m a sucker for camo and this one caught my eye. It looks Gucci-ish, which I love. It’s very durable and sturdy. It would also be great as a work bag. It doesn’t look at all like a diaper bag, and the extra pockets are super handy. It comes with a crossbody strap and a regular shoulder strap.
I ordered the matching Changing Pad Clutch because I used one of my girls are have found it very handy. I keep it stocked with diapers, wipes and diaper cream and throw it in whichever bag I’m using. The changing pad is awesome for those times when I’m out and about and need to change the babe, but the conditions are less than ideal.
The Amazon Coat
I was a hold out on this best-selling coat until last week. I decided to try it out because I kept hearing how great it is. I was skeptical and ready to send it right back if it didn’t live up to the hype. Well, I’m here to say: BELIEVE THE HYPE. It’s good, you guys. It’s warm, but not too bulky. It’s comfortable and not restricting. It’s longer in the back to cover the booty. It’s stylish, yet functional, with enough pockets for everything #momlife requires.
It’s less than $140 and comes in a bunch of colors. I chose this army green and it’s even prettier in person. I’m wearing XS. It’s a bit tight to zip up right now, but when I unzip the side zippers (which I liken to the zippers on luggage that make it expand), it’s perfect. As I lose the baby weight, it’ll fit better and I won’t use the size zippers. This makes it great for pregnancy, too.
LED Birch Tree
I shared this birch tree in my Holiday Decor Recent Finds post earlier this week and I’ve shown it on my Instagram Stories a few times. I ordered the 5′ and 7′ trees and have them in our family room. I absolutely love how they warm up the room. And, since they don’t scream Christmas, I plan on keeping them up through January. Or February.
SHEARLING BIRKENSTOCKS
Breaking news: I love this cozy version of the popular sandals. I know. Shocking. These were just delivered yesterday afternoon and I wore them all evening and they’re currently on my feet. OK, they may seem ridiculous, but hear me out: I’ve been looking for a slipper alternative to wear inside. We have wood floors throughout our home, and it can be hard on my feet. I plan on wearing these as much as possible. And I might even rock them with some fluffy socks and my #ootd. They’re selling like hot cakes, so I’m linking them anywhere I can find them…
The Little Elephant Who Wants To Fall Asleep Audiobook
I’ve been meaning to share this book for, well, years. A mama friend told me about it when my oldest was 3 years old. I was having a hard time getting her to fall asleep. (Story of my life.) She said she started using this with her son and it worked like a charm. How?? Well, let’s call it what it is: a light form of hypnotization. Yep. This book, which we still listen to every single night, hypnotizes my girl. And IT WORKS. If I’m feeling even slightly tired and I lie down with her, I will be fighting sleep 5 minutes into the story. These days, my girl falls asleep within minutes of hearing the book.

OK, those Birks look like the perfect Yooper footwear 🙂 Love your picks, and agree, you should keep the trees up as long as you can – they’re beautiful!
