My Kind Of Sweet Home: Surprise! We’re Moving…

Ahhh! Happy Monday! FINALLY. I get to share our big news. We’re moving!!

I’ve been waiting to write this post for a few months. Mainly because I didn’t want to jinx anything. And also because the whole process has been such a rollercoaster – it looked like it was going to happen, and then the next day we were unsure. 

But, we close TODAY and move in just 2 weeks. So, this ball is rolling and I could not be happier. I’ll be sharing a WHOLE lot more as we move in and make the house our home, but for today here are some photos that I snapped during our final walk-through yesterday. (Can you tell we’re excited??) I’m also sharing a few photos from the website listing of my favorite spaces in the house.

Our new family room! We’ll be adding built-ins on each side of the fireplace.

I can’t wait to have long talks around that island. To cook Thanksgiving dinner here. To make daily peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. And hot damn, a window over the kitchen sink is my dream.

I can’t get enough of the natural light. It’s the thing I love most about our new home.

The mudroom + laundry rooms are at the top of the list of things I’m most excited about. It’s official: I’m old.
