I hope you had a fun-filled weekend! Ours was full of nonstop holiday celebrations and it was pretty damn good.
OK, let’s get right into it. I’ve gotten quite a few messages asking for a cute and cozy holiday party outfit and since I aim to please, today’s look totally fits the bill.
Holiday parties can be tricky. How dressy should you go? How can you look cute and not freeze your booty off at the same time? Enter: this holiday party outfit idea. For real, you can’t go wrong with a chic skirt, a black tee and some booties.
I picked up this velvet leopard skirt at the Nordy Party at Nordstrom last week. Real talk: it’s taken me a little bit to get used to the silhouette, since I’m usually more of a mini/midi skirt kinda girl and not so much a high-rise A-line skirt kinda girl. But, every time I put it on, I can’t help but do a little boogie. It’s such a fun, twirly skirt, I’m in love. And guess what?? It’s currently being price-matched and it’s 20% off. Scoop it up!
I also have plans to wear it with this $26 slouchy sweater and these OTK boots. Stay tuned… 🙂
If you’re a skirt-wearing kinda gal, you NEED these black opaque tights in your winter wardrobe. They’re completely opaque, which is important when it comes to tights in the winter. (Don’t go sheer, girls.) They’re less than $20, which is like highway robbery. I’m wearing size 1.
My black suede booties are amazing Saint Laurent dupes for less than $160. The black suede keeps selling out, but they were just restocked. RUN.
You know that I have a soft spot for this moto jacket (see it styled 3 ways here. It’s been on repeat since I bought it, and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. I’m wearing XS.
