You guys. When I got these photos back from our photographer, I couldn’t help but get a little teary eyed. Partly because I can’t believe how quickly my girls are growing. But, what surprised me and hit me the most is how little my girls still are and how much is still ahead of them. Not a day goes by that I don’t feel infinitely blessed that I get to have a front row seat to their growing and exploring and learning. These truly are the good ol’ days and I’m trying the best I can to take it all in.
OK, let’s take a break from the sap for just a second to talk about one of our new favorite lines: vineyard vines. If you know anything about my style, you know that I love to keep it classic and easy. Yes, I want to look chic and stylish, but I don’t like anything that is over the top or too stuffy. If you’re with me, look no further than vineyard vines.
It was tough to choose a favorite look from their New Arrivals, but once I spotted this Fisherman Sweater, it was love at first sight. You guys, it’s perfect. It’s not itchy. It’s not too bulky. It’s flattering and perfectly cozy. Paired with these olive utility pants and it might just be one of my most favorite fall looks to date. (A note about sizing: I’m wearing XS in the sweater and size 2 in the pants. If you’re in between sizes, I would size down.)
If you have little ones, you need to check out their Back To School styles. I dare you to dress your kiddos and NOT be tempted to schedule a family photo session. You can’t do it. They’re just way too cute.
The Mister couldn’t stop raving about how comfortable his clothes were, and he’s already worn them to golf. This 1/4-zip sweater is so classic and comes in a ton of colors. He is wearing Deep Bay. (A note about sizing: he sized down one size in both the polo and the sweater.)
According to vineyard vines, Every Day Should Feel This Good. I completely agree…
