Happy Friiiiiiiiday and Sweet Edit!
This week has totally flown by and I’m going to need time to slow way down. Immediately. I’m convinced that technology has something to do with time passing so much quicker these days. (I don’t mean like a conspiracy theory that Elon Musk is messing with the space/time continuum, BUT now that I mention it…)
It doesn’t take a genius to realize that time disappears when we’re on our phones. How many times have you been scrolling through Instagram or Facebook and been shocked when you realize you just wasted like 35 minutes of your precious life?
(And yes, I know this little tangent doesn’t make sense for a blogger to bring up since I benefit from people scrolling social media and the web, but STILL.)
I’ve been trying to be more mindful about my mindless scrolling. (Did that even make sense?) Lately I’ve been trying to swap out my phone before bed for a good book. I can normally only get in a few chapters before my eyes get heavy and #momlife exhaustion gets the best of me, but it’s much better for my soul than being glued to my phone until I fall asleep.
OK. That’s what I’ve got for today. Thank you, thank you for all of your support this week. It means the world.

I’m only 2 chapters into this book and already I can’t put it down. It’s not normally something I would think of reading, but it’s so interesting and I love the premise.
Next up: this book. A must-read before it hits theaters. (And who am I kidding? Like I’ll see it in the theater. HA. A must-read before it hits movies and then is released onto my DVR.)
