(Thank you to The RoomPlace for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that support this blog.)
I’m still not quite sure how, but it’s already the 4th of July. (In case you weren’t already aware of that. You can always count on this blog for breaking news.)
No, really. How did that happen?! It seems like just yesterday it was last 4th of July and I was pregnant with baby girl, sick as a dog and just trying to survive the hot summer days rather than getting outside and enjoying them.
Maybe that’s why this year it feels like there’s a whole lot for my little family to celebrate, and what better way to do it than with a party (and some sweets)? Not to mention, the weather has been absolutely lovely in Chicago. Our summers truly do make up for our winters. (Can someone please remind me of this in January? Thanks.)
I’m such a homebody, my idea of a perfect party is one with my family, in our home. So naturally, we are throwing a family 4th of July party!
Once again, we turned to The RoomPlace to help us make our decor dreams a reality. (Do you guys remember when they helped out with my home office revamp last winter?)
I knew I wanted something that would serve as a bar for all of our treats, so our little ones could come inside to recharge and refuel and go back outside to play. When I found the Sedona console table, I knew it was perfect.
You guys. It’s even more gorgeous in person. I love the mix of industrial yet casual style, and it fit right in with the rest of our home. I will use it again and again for entertaining, and when we’re not throwing a party, it’ll be the perfect table for behind our sofa.
We also have these gorgeous Adirondack chairs on their way to us, and I’m so excited! I love the clean, classic look for our backyard. (Of course, I’ll share photos when they’re in place!)
Do you guys have any fun 4th of July plans? Do you like going out or staying home to celebrate? Let me know in the comments below!
Finally! Treats!
So many goodies!
Happy girl.
There might or might not be white chocolate drizzled on that popcorn…
There goes naptime… 😉
All the good stuff.
Ready to head outside to the pool!
My most favorite party-goers ever.
Happy 4th of July, from our family to yours!
