Second Birthday

We celebrated Harper’s second birthday this weekend. My baby girl is 2 years old. Seems almost impossible.

For her 1st birthday, we went all out. We invited 40 friends and family to our house. We hired a caterer and face painter. We had professional photos taken. I spent hours upon hours making a movie documenting the cutest and most adorable moments of her first year. There was an insanely cute and embarrassingly giant cake that could feed our entire city.

This year was different. No party. No fancy food. No painted faces. Just our sweet little family, watching butterflies and trains at the Botanic Garden, all while dodging rain drops. It was perfect.

I’ve been living in these sandals all summer. (How did I not already have a pair stored away from the 90’s??) They are beyond comfortable and FLORAL. If you haven’t, check out all the updated colors. Metallic Birks? Yes, please.

This tee is one of my favorite purchases from the Nordstrom Sale. It fits perfectly (even over my little bump) and is still on sale for less than $15! I scooped up 3 different colors because when you find something you love, you stock up. 😉
