Plaid? In the spring? Yes. Don’t think you have to tuck your plaids away until fall. You’ll see mine all year long 🙂
Our weekend was filled with fun + friends. We met some friends at a little fair on Saturday. Harper loved riding the train and dancing to some good tunes. (She must take after her mama.) It was so much fun seeing her run and discover new things. AND, I got to eat cotton candy. It was a good day.
It was sunny and in the 60’s, so it was a perfect plaid + denim day. I recently splurged on my plaid shirt (similar style here and here) and so glad I did. I’ve been living in it. It’s super soft and covers the booty if I wear leggings. Win. Don’t worry – if you don’t want to splurge, here’s a less expensive version.
Now, let’s get to the REALLY good stuff: my new tote. I’m obsessed! Not only is it super cute, but it’s reversible. AND it’s under $50. So really, it’s only $25. (Makes total sense to me.) I’ve been using it as my everyday mom + diaper bag. I might just have to get one (two) of the other colors. 🙂
For those of you who follow me on Instagram and have been asking about the gray denim I posted a couple of weeks ago, here they are! They’re almost like leggings and perfect to dress up or down.
Here’s to a wonderful week!

Love the plaid. Love the tote. I have a few lightweight plaid shirts I love to wear with white shorts all summer!
Love plaids shirts like the one you are wearing, Comfortable and great with jeans.
Cute shirt! It’s a great transition piece as the weather gets warmer.
Love the bag! It looks very versatile…and a nice change over the diaper bag I currently use. 🙂

Perfect casual weekend look! You make the plaid look chic, which I feel can be pretty hard task…at least for me.

LOVING the plaid! I am a huge fan. Every time I wear it, I swear my husband says “is that new? I’ve never seen it before” My answer always is “I’ve had it for years!” Haha Oh well, plaid compliments different colors with what you are wearing, so I supposed it could look new!
