So, I’ve decided to make friends with the rain. And the gloom. Granted yesterday it was sunny in Chicago, but I know the gloom isn’t gone. So I’m ready.
An umbrella is such an easy way to make a simple outfit fashionable. Annnnd, it’s functional. I found this umbrella last week, and I haven’t been completely bummed that it’s been rainy. Hey, if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em.
Remember when I first showed you my rain boots in this post last fall? I was hesitant to get red because it was such a departure for me. Update: I’m so glad I did. I wear them all the time. And even though they’re red, they really do go with anything. Plus, they’re pretty snazzy.
If you’re looking for an awesome pair of leggings that don’t break the bank, look no further. I’ve had these leggings for years, and they’re still my go-to black leggings.

I love that umbrella but especially love those rain boots! Thankfully I am in Florida so except for gloomy weather a bit in the winter we don’t normally deal with constant rain – and I get the “blues” with too much dreariness and rain!

I miss living where it rains more. We do get rain but, have been in a drought for 5 years now. I love the umbrellas & rain boots! I enjoy rainy weather, but get 95% sun where we are.
