Wearing Old Pieces and Adding Some New Ones

Looks

January 10, 2016

I love digging in my closet and finding and wearing old pieces I had long forgotten about. I’ve had this jacket for years. I used to love it and wear it constantly, but over the years it had been replaced by shiny new jackets and blazers, and was relegated to the back of my closet. When I stumbled upon it a couple of weeks ago, I felt like I had discovered a national treasure. YAY.

I’ve been wearing it a lot lately, having fun playing around and pairing it with some new duds. Isn’t that what fashion is all about?

My husband gave me this (amazingly soft and comfortable) sweatshirt and these (totally hipster) shoes for Christmas. Does he have great taste, or what? And he knows me well. 🙂

Here’s to an amazing week and rediscovering some treasures of your own…
