Spring Trends That Won’t Break The Bank

Now that April is officially here and it seems warmer weather is finally on the horizon, I’m packing away all of my layers and winter gear and welcome spring with open arms. (I know. I probably said that at the beginning of March, too, but whatevs. I really mean it this time, Mother Nature.)

OK, can we talk spring trends? I’m loving the pattern play trend that is everywhere this season. I always gravitate toward florals, and as soon as I saw this floral maxi dress, I was hooked. It’s super flattering, the color is amazing and the little lace up detail is so sweet. It runs true to size and doesn’t drag on the floor like some maxi dresses. 

I’m a sucker for easy, no-fuss style, and this dress fits the bill. If you have a daytime spring party coming up, it’s perfect. And, if you’re feeling a little more playful, I’d opt for this off the shoulder smocked version, too. 

And because I honestly believe that a good denim jacket makes any outfit (and life, for that matter) better, I paired this classic one with my dress. It dresses my look down so I’m ready for an afternoon at the park with my girls or a ballgame with the Mister. 

Don’t forget the mom essentials: cute flat sandals, chic sunnies and a classic crossbody bag. Hands-free to wrangle the little ones and fast on my feet to attempt to keep up them. Oh, and the sunnies to cover up the fact that I haven’t had a full night’s sleep in approximately 3 years, 8 months and 14 days. (Ballpark figure.)
