Happy Wednesday, sweet friends! I’m finally bringing you a post that I’ve been meaning to share for a month or two: my current skincare routine.
As I near 39 (WHAT. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE.), I’ve been focusing a lot more on my skin. For me, splurging on quality, safe and effective skin care products is essential.
The products that I’m sharing today are safe to use during pregnancy (but, of course, don’t just take my word for it because breaking news: I’m not a doctor), and I’m sharing 2 of my favorites that I can’t use during pregnancy, but I LOVE, love, love.
That’s it for today! Be sure to stop by tomorrow because I’ll be sharing a HUGE Best Of Nordstrom Anniversary Sale post as soon it goes live for Icon members + Ambassadors at 11:30 am CST. Early Access starts Friday!!!

As I’ve shared in my Bump Updates, I’ve been battling rosacea during this pregnancy, which is totally new for me. I tried everything and nothing was helping. Then, in the middle of the night, knee deep into a “what helps rosacea” Google sesh, I found a recommendation for this Eminence Clear Skin Probitotic Cleanser. I’d never used anything from Eminence, but I was willing to try anything. Well, this cleanser works wonders. (BTW, look at those 5 star reviews.) It’s not at all drying and doesn’t suds up at all. It is more creamy and smells kind of like…the woods. BUT, it’s calming and powerful and totally works.
My old standby. I’ve been using this Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water daily for 7 years, and I will never, ever stop. It’s THE best for getting off my makeup and being gentle on my skin. I swear, it’s like a miracle worker. I use it every night. (And the only thing I’m going to complain about is that this bottle came with a broken top, which has never happened.)
Yep, I’m still a big fan of Beautycounter. I started using this Beautycounter Countermatch Adaptive Moisture Lotion a few months ago, and I’m hooked. I use it every morning because it’s super light and perfect for under my makeup. It has improved with overall tone of my skin (which is hard to say right now since I’m also battling melasma during this pregnancy). It’s also helped curb those annoying little break outs.
OK, this SK-II Facial Treatment Essence was a splurge and probably not something I would have purchased if I wasn’t WELL into my 30’s. But, since I am doing all I can to fight off those fine lines and wrinkles, I needed to try it. And let me tell you – after using it consistently for 3 weeks or so, my husband asked me if I had recently gotten Botox. (Which is funny, because #31weekspregnant.) I’m not sure how it works, but my skin is more glowing and plumper after using it. It does make my skin red right away after using it, so I have to plan it out in the morning. I will definitely be re-ordering when this bottle is gone.
The best facial oil ever. I first tried Vintner’s Daughter Serum a few years ago, and I’m now on my second bottle. (It lasts forever, which is makes it a little bit easier to spend that much on an oil.) A little goes a long way and especially in the summer, I only use a drop or two. I do use more in the winter and mix it with my night cream since my skin gets pretty dry. It makes my skin SO glowy and helps with my pores. It’s not at all greasy and smells amazing. Now during the summer, I don’t use this every night, but when my skin is feeling like it needs some extra TLC.
This is my first time using La Mer Lifting and Firming Mask, and it’s another find that will permanently a part of my skin care routine. I use it every other night and can TOTALLY tell a difference in my skin the next morning. It makes my skin feel baby smooth and helps with the fine lines. I use a thin layer and leave it on, rather than rinsing it off. It’s not at all heavy or greasy. It’s perfect.
PRODUCTS I LOVE THAT I’M NOT USING DURING PREGNANCY (BUT WILL START AGAIN ASAP)…
This Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Magic Cream is AMAZING. It works wonders on my fine lines, and makes my skin feel SO smooth. It’s not at all heavy and is more like a whipped cream. I use it every night when I’m not pregnant. (Contains retinol.)
Again, another Charlotte Tilbury winner. Woman knows her skin care, I swear. This eye cream is a favorite of mine and my husband’s. I use it nightly when I’m not pregnant. (Contains retinol.)
