We’ve all heard of Mommy Wine Culture, but have you heard of Grandma Wine Culture? While it might not be quite as prevalent, it’s on the rise.
Alcohol use is booming within the Boomer generation, especially among women, and troubling trends are beginning to come to the surface. My therapist mom, a Boomer herself, is back on the podcast to help us break down why drinking is continuing its upward trend within her generation. We talk about the risks that come with this post retirement drinking culture, including brain health, its effect on the hospital system, and its effect on families.
