Happy Friday and Sweet Edit, friends!
I haven’t known what day it was all week long (like for the last 3 weeks TBH), and I’m SO ready to get back into my routine next week! But first, the weekend. YAY.
I’m happy to bring you a new + improved Sweet Edit! It’s still a rundown of some of my favorites, but I’ve add some new categories that I hope you’ll love. It’ll change up week to week, so stay tuned.
Thank you for stopping by! Cheers to a whole lot of coffee and a fun-filled weekend!
XO

This lighted mirror has seriously helped me step up my makeup game. No, I’m still not “strobing” because I don’t know what that means, but my foundation is even and my brows are on point. (I think.)
I shared this One Minute Gratitude Journal on my social media this week and I’m so glad a lot of you loved the idea. I have wanted to jot down my gratitude daily, but I can never get my act together and be consistent. So far, I’m 3 for 3 (days) with this one. Ha.
OK, I just saw this commercial today and couldn’t NOT share this with you. If you’re into saving the oceans (and if you’re not, WHY NOT for the love) you need to check out 4ocean. They’re on a mission to clean up the plastic in the ocean, which is arguably the most important task on the planet.
This fleece hoodie (in the featured image) is easily my favorite purchase of the week! (Which actually isn’t true, because I ordered it the day after Christmas and totally forgot, so when it showed up on my doorstep this week, I thought it was a gift from the retail angels or Santa or some very fashionable neighbor.) It’s on sale for $45, comes in 6 colors and is FOR REAL THE COZIEST THING EVER EVER. I have it in a small and it’s perfect.

I haven’t shared an Amazon Haul for a bit, so there’s one coming soon. But for now, here’s what I’ve ordered and loved…
If joggers are your jam, these babies are for you. They’re super soft, less than $30 and get 5 out of 5 stars. I still can’t decide if I’m going to keep them because I have such a love/hate relationship with joggers. I love the idea of them, but I tend not to like how they fit me. It might be my long torso/short leg sitch, but it just feels like there’s a lot of fabric around the middle. BUT, these are at the top of the list of any joggers I’ve tried.
This heart sweater has been a hit every time I’ve posted it! It’s $26 and comes in 5 colors. I sized up to a medium for a slouchier fit and I love it.

I try (TRY) to read a chapter in my book each night before I fall asleep. Sure, it means it takes me forEVER to finish a book, but books make me happy and it’s better than not reading at all. Here’s what’s currently on my nightstand…
Currently reading: Becoming by Michelle Obama. I LOVE HER.
Next up: Almost Everything by Anne Lamott. One of my favorite authors, my mom and I saw her speak in Madison in October. My best friend (@kate.olson.reads) gave me this book for Christmas and I can’t wait to dig into it.
Ongoing: The Art Of Stopping Time by Pedram Shojai. I picked this up when we were in Miraval in the fall, and while I haven’t been the best at reading it everyday, I’m trying. It’s practical mindfulness for busy people, which is right up my alley.
Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman. I bought this in the airport and started reading it, but then got sidetracked. #momlife. It’s perfect escapism, gets rave reviews and is endorsed by Reese Witherspoon.
