I’m NEVER not listening to podcasts. And yes, I mean that almost literally.
Since I consider myself somewhat of a podcast expert, I’m excited to share the 10 podcasts I’m loving right now. There’s a mix and something for everyone – whether you love true crime, pop culture or docu-series, I’ve got you. The only thing I’ve taken a break from this year is politics podcasts. Because, you know, mental health and all that.
These aren’t in any particular order – I can’t choose a favorite. Don’t make me.
I haven’t included any sobriety podcasts because that deserves its own post. Sharing my favorite sobriety podcasts next week! Stay tuned…

1. WATCH WHAT CRAPPENS | Remember when I said I wouldn’t rate the podcasts by favorites? Like 3 seconds ago? Well except for this one because if you ask my favorite podcast, Crappens is for sure the answer. If you love (or love/hate) Bravo, I can’t recommend the podcast enough. Ben and Ronnie are legends who reenact each show – their impersonations make me LOL (their Shannon is HILARIOUS) and they’re both whip smart and crazy clever.
2. THE PROSECUTORS | Hands down, my favorite true crime podcast. Brett and Alice are prosecutors and do deep dives into the most famous cases of all time – they’re almost done with Hae Min Lee after 11 episodes – and explain the murders, trials and aftermath so clearly, with a little levity in there, too.
3. POP APOLOGISTS | If you love pop culture, you’ll love this one. Lauren and Chanler are sisters and they’re banter is so cute and funny – it’d be like if Jay were my sister rather than my brother. Lol.
4. THE RETRIEVALS | Another good one from Serial and The New York Times – this 5 part narrative series reports on the shocking events that unfolded at the fertility clinic at Yale. It’s a little bit slow to start, but the story is so crazy that it held my attention.
5. MAINTENANCE PHASE | Michael Hobbes and Aubrey Gordon debunk wellness myths and junk science. I love when people call shit out, and that’s exactly what they do. So good AND hilarious.
6. SCAMANDA | Alright, I’m actually not listening to this podcast right now, because I was ALL over it as soon as new episodes were released, and I’ve reached the end. *tear* This true story is BANANAS, and it’s really well reported. It’s also really giving Brooks from RHOC. IYKYK.
7. THE GIRLFRIENDS | This is a 9 part series that is narrated by Carole Fisher, who dated Bob Bierenbaum, who may have murdered his wife in the 80’s…?
8. ARMCHAIR EXPERT | I know this isn’t new and probably doesn’t need any more listeners, but I have to include it in my round up because it’s my most listened to podcast over the last 6 years.
