Hi, sweet friends! Sharing a good old fashioned My Kind Of Sweet home post today. I realized yesterday that I’ve never shared our kitchen nook on here. I shot these photos a few months ago for Google Web Stories. Head to the bottom to see the video!

I’m often asked about our kitchen nook rug. It was one of the first rugs I chose for our new home, two years ago. It’s a mix of wool and jute and it’s super soft under bare feet. We have the natural/alabaster color.
If you have kiddos, I highly recommend this reclaimed wood dining table and bench. It’s rustic and rugged, so I don’t freak out over every marker or paint mark. It’s the perfect place for family dinners, painting, homework, writing, working, etc. It’s the center of our home and I love it so much.
I change out the centerpiece on our table almost monthly, but I love this version. I ordered these green moss balls from Amazon and they look good anywhere. Our wooden bowl is old, but I linked a similar one below.
I wanted two accent chairs on each end of the table. When I found these woven seat chairs (on Overstock!), I knew they were perfect. They look SO much more expensive and they’re currently on sale!
I often get asked about the light fixtures in our home. Because we didn’t build our home, I don’t have the exact sources for everything. But, I can normally find very similar items, and this chandelier is very similar to the one in our kitchen nook.
Hey,
This is Neelima.
May I known floor wood color of you house?
It’s beautiful by the way.
