Fall Home Decor | New Family Room Rug

My Kind Of Sweet Home

August 8, 2024

(I make commission from the affiliated links in this post.)

I felt a *slight* breeze in the air the other day, which of course means it’s time for me to break out the fall candles and cozy sweaters. What can I say? I can’t be stopped.

I’ve been wanting to update our the rug in our family room for awhile, but I kept having a block. I couldn’t find the perfect rug, and I wanted the perfect rug.

Enter: this warm geometric area rug from one of my favorite home decor sites, Lulu and Georgia.

It warms up the space so nicely, and pairs so well with another favorite find from Lulu and Georgia – these leather chairs.

CHEETAH PILLOW COVER | PIG NOSE PATTERN (for real that’s what it’s called lol) PILLOW COVER

How chic are these pillow covers from Amazon? And the quality is amazing.

Taking this photo made me miss the old days of taking flay lay photos. Ahhh, such a simpler time as an influencer. lol.

Our exact slipcovered sofa and chair and a half are old from Arhaus, but I found a very similar style at Pottery Barn. If you’re looking for a new sofa and have kids, I highly recommend going the slipcover route. I’ve washed our covers a few times, and they always come out as good as new.

My fiddle leaf fig is thriving in this sunny corner.

Really just trying to match all of our home decor to Georgia girl. 😍
