1package of yellow cake mixyou can also use spice cake mix
1 15ozcan pure pumpkin
1teaspoonpumpkin pie spiceoptional
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:
1/2cupbuttersoftened
8ozcream cheese
4cupspowdered sugar
2teaspoonsvanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325.
Blend cake mix, pumpkin and spice.
Scoop batter into prepared cups, 3/4 full.
Bake 18-20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool on a wire rack and frost when completely cooled. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

FOR FROSTING:
In large bowl, beat softened butter and cream cheese until blended.
Add powdered sugar and vanilla.
Beat until creamy.
(Try not to eat it all before you frost the cupcakes.)
