Happy Thursday, sweet friends!
I meant to have this post published overnight, but I’ve been momming it hard today and it’s been pretty great. As much as I love this blogging gig, there’s absolutely nothing better than spending uninterrupted, quality time with my girls. (And then there’s nothing better than nap/quiet time and sitting down at my desk and getting to work.)
I met with my photographer yesterday and shot so many cute looks for fall and OMG. I don’t need to tell you that posing in a cashmere cardigan, suede skirt and OTK boots was brutal in 90 degree heat, but what can I say? Anything for fashion. 😉
OK, back to #momlife. Thank you so much for stopping by!

THE ARMY JACKET
The new neutral (although the army jacket is definitely not new). This might be the jacket I wear more often than any other one. If you’ve been a longtime reader of my blog, you might be tired of me talking about this jacket. But, I’m not going to stop anytime soon. Just a warning.
THE MOTO JACKET
I dare you to put on a black moto jacket and not feel cool. You can’t do it. I’m not the coolest person in the world, but wearing this jacket, I feel like I should be in Grease. But like, a modern day version without John Travolta because now he’s all creepy. I love that my moto jacket has a removable hood, which makes it easy to wear from fall into winter. Also, it’s less than $100, which is a total steal.
Give me a chic menswear piece any day of the week. Blazers always make me think of my mom, so obvs I have a soft spot in my heart for this polished piece. These days, the shoulder pads are lower or non-existent (or should be), but the result of donning a blazer is the same: an instant put-together, chic look. My blazer is great for fall and is currently being price-matched.
(A sizing note: I have broad shoulders, which has made it difficult to find a blazer that fits my shoulders, but doesn’t overwhelm me. This one is perfect. I’m wearing size 2.)
THE DENIM JACKET
I don’t have to explain why a denim jacket is an absolute closet essential for ANY season, right??? I will, however, explain why you probs need this denim jacket. It’s currently on sale for $30, in stock in all sizes and has zero distressing, so it will be in your wardrobe for the rest of time.
THE COZY ATHLEISURE ONE
A total #momlife staple. This jacket is called the “Better Sweater,” which explains it all. I’m wearing size small.
