Hi. My name is Suzanne, and I have a sweet tooth. Actually, I have more than one sweet tooth. They pretty much all seem to like sugar. So, I guess I have sweet teeth.
When I was in my 20’s, I didn’t give much thought to my addiction to sugar. Treats were a part of daily life. “Something sweet” topped off every meal and sugar was my fuel. (Apparently, I hadn’t discovered coffee yet.)
Now well into my 30’s and a mama of two girls, a whole lot more thought goes into, well, everything, but also what we put into our bodies. Gone are the days of mindlessly snacking on sugary candy.
But, a leopard can’t change its spots. My sweet tooth remains and I still crave something sweet after dinner. Maybe it’s out of habit, but my palette loves a dessert. I can’t help it. It’s nature or science, or something.
Yogurt has been my go-to “something sweet” for awhile. Enter: FAGE Total Split Cup. This all-natural Greek strained yogurt comes with delicious fruit toppings and you guys, it’s GOOD. Not only is it quick and easy (no extra dishes, please), but it tastes like an indulgent dessert.
The best part? There’s only 11g of sugar in the whole milk variety and 11g of protein, which means I feel zero guilt about letting my girls have one, too. (But, they have to get their own. I’m not sharing.) Rich in protein, not in sugar, it’s a no-brainer. We love the Total (whole milk) variety, but they also have FAGE Total 2% and FAGE Total 0% Split Cup.
Thanks for stopping by, sweet friends!
My girls can’t get enough of this raspberry flavor.
I’ve been loving the apricot variety lately. (Oh, and there are only 150 calories!)
In my happy place.
