Since you guys loved my Overnight Oats recipe (if you missed it, you can find it here), today I’m bringing you another one of my favorites: Peanut Butter + Banana Smoothie.
I make this shake several times a week. I don’t use it as a meal replacement (I love food too much for that.). I’ll have it for breakfast along with eggs and turkey bacon, or as a mid-day snack when I need a little pick me up.
I tend to change it up from time to time, but here’s the most simple version. It is so yummy and packed with protein.
PEANUT BUTTER + BANANA SMOOTHIE
- 1 banana
- handful of ice (not needed if you have a frozen banana)
- 2 Tablespoons PB2
- 1/3 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 scoop of Perfect Fit protein
- Almond Milk
(I also sometimes add spinach or cocoa nibs.)
Blend together and prepare to conquer your sweet tooth (at least for the time being). 🙂
PB2 is one of the most amazing inventions ever. If you’re a chocolate lover, get the chocolate version and prepare to have your world rocked.
I like Chobani Plain 0% Greek Yogurt. Such an easy way to add protein into your diet.
Full disclosure: I didn’t love the original Perfect Fit Protein Powder. The consistency was super grainy and it had a weird taste to it. Thank goodness the girls at Tone It Up went back to the drawing board. The new version is SO MUCH better.
Because everything tastes better in a pretty mason jar with a fancy straw.
