Postpartum Style: 5 Key Pieces

Happy Spring! Let’s talk postpartum style. It’s tough, right? I’m in between my entire closet fitting me and most of my maternity clothes being too big (and really never wanting to see them again, anyway). 

Well, I’ve had 6 weeks to experiment with what works and what doesn’t, what makes me feel like ME again and what makes me feel like I want to hide until these extra pounds are gone.

A Family Of Four

We had Ev’s newborn pictures taken about 3 weeks ago. Thankfully, we were able to get some family photos taken, too. 

While I try to schedule family photos for each big life event, I didn’t get any taken during this pregnancy. Really, I felt giant and uncomfortable for most of it, so I really didn’t feel like getting all fancy and striking a pose in front of the camera. (Hence the reason there weren’t many outfit posts on the blog!)

Mama Of Two: One Month In…

Our newest addition is one month old and I can’t believe it. The past month has taken so long and has gone so quickly. Days have blurred into nights and back into sleepy mornings.

I’m slowly getting the hang of this mama of two thing. The key word is SLOWLY. I have moments of feeling like I’ve got this, I can do it. Then, the next minute comes and brings with it doubt and overwhelm.

I’ll get there, I know.
